BJJ is a highly motivating way of keeping fit and healthy with the added benefit of enjoying time with family and friends. As I get older, I am enjoying BJJ more. After 10 years I feel like I have learnt how to handle myself with younger and stronger students and also really enjoy teaching and motivating others.

I started training with my kids as a way to stay connected to them. I never thought it would turn into such a passion and lifestyle for me.
I am a software developer and love to create software. In my later years, I have managed to combine my software skills and love for BJJ, by developing GB Members. GB Members is software designed for any Gracie Barra school to manage their business.
I started as a teenager and haven't looked back. BJJ is a perfect sport for all sizes, ages and abilities.
I look at Jiu Jitsu as not only a way to get fit, stay active and be healthy, but it's also my fun, family and something that keeps me mentally and emotionally happy!
If everyone would practice Jiu Jitsu, the world would be a better place.
Jiu Jitsu means to me improving myself inside and outside of the gym, improving my mind and body, gaining life long skills and friendships, aiming to always be a better student, mentor and leader.
Tie your camel first, then put your trust in god
Jiujitsu is a great way to keep fit and interact with people from all walks of life. It provides a physical environment in which to problem solve, with each training partner presenting problems unique to their own jiujitsu style and body type. I’ve come to enjoy the unique BJJ learning process, and have found coaching to be extremely rewarding.

I took up jiujitsu after getting migraines practicing other martial arts. It’s provided me with an outlet to relieve stress and stay physically active during my studies.
I love the comradory, team spirit and family that comes along with training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
It is amazing to see all different cultures, religions, ages and sizes training together and learning the Art of Jiu Jistu.
